See the World Famous Giant Redwoods Without the Crowds!
Walk among the iconic redwood groves of Marin, with pick-up and drop off at the Sausalito ferry landing (a 30-minute ferry ride from San Francisco's Ferrry Building.) Walks depart at 10:30am on weekdays (reservations required). This refreshing hike is a wonderful way to see these ancient trees in a primeval creekside setting. This hike captures the natural beauty of Marin at its best! Your guides are native San Franciscans and Marin locals with a deep knowledge of the region's natural areas and the ecology of redwood trees. This three-hour walk includes a leisurely stroll though the historic center of charming Mill Valley.
MEETING TIME / PLACE: If leaving from San Francisco, you will need to take the 10AM Sausalito Ferry, which departs from the San Francisco Ferry Building at the foot of Market St. We meet you at the Sausalito Ferry Terminal, at the circular bench at the foot of the pier, when it arrives at 10:30AM. We will shuttle to our trailhead from here.

HIKE RATING: Easy stroll on quiet backroads and lush, fern-lined footpaths in a redwood forest. Good walking shoes are recommended.
